This has just happened here, 12yr olds roaring through on tractors and fading to a whisper.

That only happens here at 5:30am when we’re out working before work. Or, maybe late at night or is it early morning when everyone’s asleep except for a straggler or two.

During lockdown that was toe sound of the city too.

I can relate to this, living in the country. I’ve been making a few ” field recordings” outdoors recently and it’s amazing how often the machine picks up traffic noise in the distance that I don’t notice when I’m making the recording.

Sadly, it’s always there. It seems we always have construction going on nearby too, and it starts up very early.😝
